The Silian corporation, one of the main AdAstrA's OEM-partners in China, has completed the development of SCADA-based DCS-system at the Yong Xin Sugar factory in the Guang Xi province (China).
The Yong Xin factory is the biggest sugar factory in the South-western part of China, where great part of South-East Asia sugar cane is planted. The TRACE MODE based SCADA project is designed to control the process of feeding raw materials, water and other components, to provide HMI features, to collect data, to issue emergency alarms and display the process history on trends.
At the hardware level of the project, Silian used the PC-based PLC FCS 2000 (Silian Corporation) with TRACE MODE SOFTLOGIC Micro RTM inside. FCS 2000 is a well-known in China DCS-system, which regular software is TRACE MODE SOFTLOGIC. TRACE MODE Micro RTM is used directly in the PLC. The SCADA/HMI features are provided by RTM and a Web-activator installed on the operator workstations.
The process control system has been developed within the SoftDCS architecture with the use of remote input/output modules, control SCADA stations and graphical HMI provided by the Web-consoles.
